Payment for clinical services is expected at the time of your scheduled appointment unless otherwise arranged. There is no charge for an initial telephone consultation. I have a sliding scale of $125 – $175 for a 50-minute session; clients are encouraged to advise me of the fee they are most comfortable within that range. Payment is accepted in the form of cash or check.
Fees for administrative services such as reports or letters to insurance companies, municipal courts, family court, or the Department of Family and Children Services (DCFS), will be billed at 30 minute increments at $25 per increment.
II accept Cigna, Health Net, and Magellan insurance. If you have a different insurance carrier I may be able to provide services to you as an out-of-network provider at a rate of 50%-80%; you will be responsible for a co-pay.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your mental health benefits and co-pay.
I recommend asking these questions of your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
I accept cash, check, debit cards, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept payment directly through my telehealth platform.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
